Welcome to Lees Band

Lees Band was formed around the end of March 2011 under the Musical Directorship of John Collins and comprises a group of players returning to brass, adults learning to play & talented children - some of whom used to be members of Bare Trees Community Band.

The band shares the practice rooms with The Oldham Band (Lees) at the Royal British Legion in Lees.

Many of the original players have now moved on and up to play in the Oldham Band (Lees).

We’re now working on developing younger players and secure the future of banding.
